Three federal agencies named in lawsuit.
The WildEarth Guardians conservationist group has filed a lawsuit against three federal agencies: the Wildlife Services, the Forest Service, and Bureau of Land Management. The group alleges violations of the National Environmental Policy Act and the Wilderness Act through the misinterpretation of the Animal Damage Control Act to kill predator animals throughout the United States.
“While society has evolved to understand the importance of native species as a key part of ecosystems and the need for coexistence of wildlife, Wildlife Services continues to rely on antiquated practices in the name of ‘managing’ conflicts with wildlife,” said Lindsay Larris, program director for the conversationist group.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For federal officials as they review policies and practices regarding predatory animal management.
- For the Department of Agriculture as they field lawsuit on this matter.
- For federal agencies and conservationists as they consider the care of God’s creation.
